The BALCO Hazardous VTS Application is used to track hazardous material vehicles from the plant to the defined destination.
Trip Creation & Tracking
- Trip details will be received from SAP.
- Based on the SAP trip data, the trip will be initiated in the VTS application.
- Once the trip starts, the vehicle will be continuously tracked until it reaches the defined destination.
- The trip will be automatically closed once the vehicle enters the destination geofence.
En-Route Monitoring & Alerts
During the journey, the VTS application will monitor the vehicle and generate alerts for:

Control Tower Monitoring
- The Control Tower Team will continuously monitor the vehicles and generated alerts.
- For any deviation or alert, the Control Tower Team will coordinate with the respective transporter and communicate the required information.
- Relevant updates and exceptions will be shared with the BALCO Team for further action.
