Strengthening Construction Workforce Management with a QR-Based Workforce Verification Solution for VisionInfra
QR-Based Workforce Verification Solution implementation for VisionInfra has transformed
attendance management across construction sites by improving workforce accountability,
eliminating fake attendance, and enhancing operational visibility. Construction and infrastructure
projects require accurate workforce verification, site-level accountability, and reliable attendance
records across multiple locations.
For VisionInfra, managing more than 10 active sites and a fleet of over 40 vehicles created a
growing need for a dependable method to verify employee presence near operational assets
and project locations. The organization sought a tamper-proof and cost-effective solution
capable of eliminating proxy attendance while improving confidence in workforce records.
Challenges in Construction Workforce Verification
Traditional attendance processes presented several operational challenges. Site managers
frequently dealt with unverified logs, limited visibility into actual workforce deployment, and
instances of proxy or remote check-ins.
Without a dependable validation mechanism, confirming whether employees were physically
present at the designated worksite remained difficult. This increased administrative effort and
reduced trust in attendance data.
Deploying a QR-Based Workforce Verification Solution
To address these challenges, Glovision deployed its QR-Based Vehicle Verification Solution for
VisionInfra. The solution assigns a unique weather-resistant and tamper-proof QR code to every
operational asset, including excavators, JCBs, loaders, tippers, and trucks.
Employees use the Glovision mobile application to scan the QR code directly from the vehicle or
machinery present at the worksite. This ensures that attendance verification begins only at the
actual location of work, providing an additional layer of operational authenticity.
Dual Validation Through Facial Verification
The verification workflow was further strengthened through dual authentication. Following the
QR scan, employees complete live facial verification with eye-blink detection.
Attendance is recorded only when both validations are successfully completed. This confirms
the presence of both the employee and the associated asset while preventing misuse through
photographs, screenshots, or another employeeโs device.
By combining QR code verification with biometric authentication, the system delivers a highly
secure and tamper-resistant attendance process.
Purpose-Built for Remote Construction Operations
Designed specifically for field operations, the solution combines mobile accessibility, centralized
attendance management, and biometric authentication without requiring dedicated GPS
hardware. This enables reliable workforce verification even in remote project locations where network coverage or GPS signals may be inconsistent. At the same time, the approach helps keep deployment costs low while maintaining operational efficiency.
